1st workshop with lots of projects!

On Friday evening I just had the best time doing my first workshop the ladies were  lovely and really seemed to have a great time.  But of course I wanted to share with all of you the fun projects we did.  The hostess requested sophisticated shimmer couture.  So the first card we made used french roast shimmer damask and made the perfect wedding card.
I know that it is hard to see but the rings are all glittery and the damask paper is our shimmer couture, so it really adds an elegance to it.  They were also interested in the copic markers (knowing I was recently certified :)  so the next card was elegant in it's own right.

The base of the card is slate and works perfectly with the pink.  The lighter pink is a solid stamped flower from kindred spirits.  Then using memento tuxedo we stamped the outline flower.  We colored them in with RV13, RV14, and RV21.  The organdy polka dot ribbon and scalloped border gave the card that extra umph it needed.  Now this last card I went a little more playful to show them a CAS that can be used with any scraps you have.
This wound up being their favorite card, they loved how easy and versatile it was.  We had some delicious fresh fruit while everyone got their order together.  One of the ladies is looking to have a workshop of her own come August. Check out our facebook page Crafty Couples Corner for a crafty glitter trick.
